Neutral Vowel N4 uh is colored with N1 oo, to instantly minimize the vowel for speakers with foreign accents. N1 and N4 cross-color each other, as do N2 and N3.
The Consonant L is a voiced, legato or sustainable L, most resonant, felt with the blade of the tongue in about the same starting position on the hard palate as for the N.
The most often used American pitch pattern has a Jump Up / Step Down intonation. Jump Up in pitch on the Operative Words to make them stand out, and Step Down in pitch on the words following them.
